RETREAT IN RISHIKESH
Join us in a rare opportunity to relax and rejuvenate with your spiritual family. Using the tools of our Kriya path, we’ll dive into the joys of inner communion, using our essential practices for deepening and awakening. The location of our weekend is a quiet retreat center with high vibration and Ganga views. It is above the river, a short walk down a path to the banks of the Ganga.
The guided sadhanas are structured around the theme, “Rise Through the Chakras: Your Path to Higher Consciousness.” The chakras, the energy-distribution centres in our spine and brain, hold the keys to physical and emotional health. They also clearly describe the stages we all follow along our path to spiritual enlightenment. Based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, the guided Sadhanas will include pranayama, yoga postures, chanting, meditation, working with sound, affirmations, and visualisations for each chakra to attune more deeply to these astral energies.
We’ll also meditate in Vashishta Gufa, on the banks of the Ganga, a sacred, favourite site for ‘diving deep’. This is the cave where the great Sage Vashishta is said to have meditated. He was among the seven great sages (Saptarishis) and the guru of Lord Ram. On our third day, we will spend the day in silence, introspecting deeply and communing with God on the banks of the Ganga. The retreat will be led by the acharyas of Ananda Sangha Delhi.
